Description
One day, the police receive a call from a terrified woman. From a remote farm outside the city, the mother of two children reports that someone has broken onto their property and is calling for help. Due to a severe storm and torrential rain, the patrol arrives at the scene only after many hours – when it is already too late. At the farm, the officers can only confirm one thing: a horrific bloodbath has taken place, but the bodies are nowhere to be found. The woman who could have cracked this (seemingly?) unsolvable case has already left the police and retreated with her daughter Alice to a secluded house by the lake. However, when the police detain a suspect following an anonymous tip, Mila Vasquez discovers that the case personally concerns her. Since she can no longer think only of herself and must consider her daughter's safety, she decides to awaken the shadow hunter instinct within her once again – but this time, really for the last time! – and descend back into the darkness she knows so well.
