These kids are definitely not okay. Quinn Maybrook just wants to make it to graduation. But she might not even make it to the next morning. Quinn moved to the small town of Kettle Springs with her father, which has a strangely looking clown as its mascot. Both want to start a new life after a tragic event. However, since the only local factory closed its doors, the town has been going downhill more and more. Most of its residents believe that teenagers are to blame for everything. After all, it was the juniors and seniors from the local high school who threw the party where Arthur Hill's daughter died. They were the ones who set the factory on fire. And they are the ones who spend all their free time making stupid videos that they then post on YouTube. They lack respect and have no idea what hard work means. But the teenagers of Kettle Springs see it quite the opposite. The town is thus engaged in an endless battle between the old and the new order, between tradition and progress. It is a struggle that could lead to the complete ruin of Kettle Springs. And that is why a murderous clown with a hat and a red round nose decides to put an end to it. Because when you kill all your opponents, you automatically win any debate.
