You could say it all started that Friday evening exactly a year ago, although much suggests that it began long before that. That what started that day was just one point in a large and extensive network of threads and connections leading in all directions. Yet it began like this, very specifically, with me lying on the couch and tapping on an icon on my phone in the midst of what I thought was a normal weekday in a normal life. After those long years I spent as a general practitioner, I should know that no normal weekday exists and that there is no normal life either. Elin has moved into her office, where patients flow in all day with their troubles and woes. She has been working as a general practitioner for over twenty years. She has been married to Axel for at least as long. But before him, there was a certain Bjorn, who suddenly resurfaced on Facebook and turned Elin's life upside down. Elin knows that something must happen, but for now, she just sits somewhat subdued in her office. In the corner stands a plastic skeleton of Tore, mocking her.
