Description
On the beach of the small North Frisian island of Amrum, the dead head of a children's home is found. The local police assume a natural cause of death until the State Criminal Police Office orders an autopsy and launches an investigation. Chief Commissioner Lena Lorenzen is surprised that Criminal Director Warnke entrusts the case to her. A few months ago, he excluded her from a special commission due to her arbitrary investigation methods and requested a reduction in her rank. Lena, who was born and raised on the island of Amrum, is haunted by memories. She left the island fourteen years ago after an argument with her father. During her stay on Amrum, she reunites with her beloved aunt Beke, and on the very first day, she crosses paths with Erck, her former great love. The case becomes complicated.
