Sometimes that feeling seeps under the skin like ink and creates a unique pattern on it. Malvína has mastered the game of appearances. Every day she wears a mask, which she only takes off at night. That’s when memories and nightmares return to her. Only at night is she naked and vulnerable. Arek has patterns on his back, but they are not tattoos. They are memories that someone has etched into his skin. He once had a woman in his life who offered him what he desired most – forgetfulness. That woman is no longer with him. Malvína and Arek have one thing in common – they are not looking for love and prefer not to get involved in any relationships because deep down they know that only pain awaits them at the end.
