Hlasy v bouři – Coates Darcy (2021)

Clare recalled the winter. And the abandoned cars by the roadside, toys scattered on the road. She remembered the endless snowstorm and a terror she could not explain. And then nothing... When she woke up, she lay all bruised and frightened in an ancient, gloomy house, resembling an old noble estate. A strange young man sat by her bed, claiming that she had been in a car accident during the snowstorm. He found her and brought her to his home. Clare would have preferred to run away, but she is too weak, and the snowstorm outside the windows shows no signs of letting up. It has trapped them in the house, and Clare has no choice but to wait. The young man treats her kindly, but Clare is unsure how much she can trust him. He claims they are alone in the house, but she feels she sees and hears things that suggest someone is lurking around, waiting for an opportunity. The tension continues to rise, along with the feeling that they have become prey. Clare comes to the conclusion that her accident was not an accident. Something is lurking outside the door, something waiting for her to leave the safety of the stone walls... something terrible, inhuman, and cruel.
