Description
Mara is the daughter of spiritualists. Her childhood was filled with séances, fraudulent ghost whisperers, and talk of their presence. When she left her parents' home, she swore she would never let superstition into her life again. She is ready to start a new life with her fiancé Neil in a world based on rationality and facts. However, her past is not ready to let her go just yet. Mara and Neil buy a house in Blackwood, a dilapidated building far out of town. They are warned that strange things happen in the crumbling house. Doors open by themselves, voices whisper in the middle of the night, bloody handprints appear on the walls, and cold spots occur in the basement where the original owner of the house was murdered. But the house was really cheap, and Mara loves it, so she is determined to ignore the warnings. Because ghosts aren't real... or are they?
