Description
Ten years ago, Detective Chief Inspector Jack Logan put an end to the rampage of a serial killer of young children, nicknamed The Whisperer. In return for his praise, he also earned problems with drinking and a crumbling marriage. Currently, he leads a criminal team in Glasgow during the day and relives the horrors of what he saw at night. When another child goes missing one day in the Scottish Highlands, hundreds of kilometers from Glasgow, it is Jack who is tasked with finding the perpetrator and bringing the missing boy home. However, as more similarities to the original case come to light, the question grows louder: did Jack really catch the right person all those years ago? And if not, will The Whisperer add a fourth victim to his tally?
