Description
Everything I thought I knew about the world was a lie. ON THE DAY OF MY THIRTEENTH BIRTHDAY, I, Alcatraz Smedry (yes, I was named after the famous prison - don't ask), received a package in the mail containing my inheritance: a bag of sand. Immediately, I accidentally set fire to my foster parents' kitchen. But it wasn't my fault; things around me just break on their own, I swear! I thought the sand was a joke until the evil librarians showed up to steal it from me. You probably think librarians are just nice people who recommend interesting books for you to read, but that's exactly what they want you to think! In reality, they are a secret sect that hides a crucial truth about life from you - a whole hidden world full of magical glasses, talking dinosaurs, and knightesses with crystal swords! At least that's what my grandpa claimed when he showed up to save me. Now I should go with him and participate in an infiltration of the local city library to get my inheritance back before the librarians use it to take over the world. My grandpa also claims that breaking things is actually an amazing and exceptional talent. This can't possibly be true, can it? Who knows if I'll even make it home alive?
