Nevíš dne, nevíš hodiny – Dán Dominik (2022)

The Bible contains a lesson that a person has no idea when their end will come. However, when someone stands up to fate, it usually only leads to problems. And detective Richard Krauz is here to solve fateful problems. This was also the case on the memorable day at the turn of the millennium – on New Year's Eve 1999. Two hours before midnight, Krauz was called to a cemetery to a gravestone splattered with blood. The blood was not the only peculiarity at the grave; even more mysterious was the freshly carved date of death – tomorrow, the first day of the new millennium. At first glance, a silly joke, but detective Krauz's laughter fades when he is informed by the operations center that the grave's owner really died an hour after midnight. Fate cruelly played with him; no matter how precisely he planned his death, someone got ahead of him. The man was shot in the back in a way that ruled out suicide. The homicide department faces another puzzle, but by no means the only one. The magical night separating two millennia will bring them several surprises, and surprises in the homicide department usually cost an innocent person's life.
