Kočičí stopa – Dán Dominik (2022)

The detectives from the homicide department have just solved the murder of a delivery driver for a well-known tobacco company. However, the joy of success is overshadowed by the shame that the perpetrators have cast over the entire police force. Despite the awkward feelings, a relaxed atmosphere prevails in the office, but only until the department head sends Krauz and Chosý to investigate the murder of Lívia. The revelation that Lívia is actually a cat is surprising, but the connection to an old friend is literally horrifying. From the depths of the past emerges Hilda Wolfová, a psychologist with a stone face and strictly rational thinking, a cold-blooded monster whom Burger and Hanzel have suspected of murdering young boys since the days of socialism. As if that weren't enough, on the same day, the nine-year-old son of a high-ranking official is kidnapped on his way home from school. He is abducted just a few steps from Hilda's house, which none of the detectives consider a mere coincidence. The once-prominent neighborhood of the Golden Triangle suddenly becomes the Devil's Triangle, where boys disappear like on a conveyor belt. The detectives must delve into their memories, sift through dusty notes, confront old knowledge with new, and do everything they can to solve the mystery.
