Description
Klementýnka travels around the world with her wooden unicorn Jéňa to visit her grandparents: her grandfather lives in Czechia and her grandmother in Australia. When it is winter in Prague, they board the plane in coats and hats, only to arrive in Adelaide, where it is 38 degrees. At three years old, a hedgehog behind Grandpa’s cottage seems just as wonderful as a koala in Grandma’s garden; raspberries grow outside Grandpa’s house, while Grandma has lemons, and frogs croak in one pond while sharks swim in the sea. Jéňa refuses to go into the water because of the sharks, but Klementýnka is there to protect him. Together they are not afraid of anything as they explore the many wonderful places in the world. This children’s book is intended for ages three and up, and its contents are in Czech.
