Meeting a real dragon is impossible to prepare for. Rinn grows up in a village full of tea dragons, but encountering a real dragon is something entirely different. Aedhan is a young dragon who was meant to protect the villagers, yet he fell asleep in the forest eighty years ago. Rinn’s uncle Erik and his companion Hesekiel, who are not daunted by any adventure, are also investigating the mystery of the enchanted sleep. Rinn’s real task, however, is to help Aedhan come to terms with the feeling that lost time cannot be regained. This longer story from the world of The Tea Dragon Society travels back in time and reveals the past of its popular characters. It once again tells of finding one’s purpose and of the friends who accompany us through life. The graphic novel has received the Will Eisner Award and the Harvey Award.
