Description
Tilda was kept afloat by 22 pools. How will her younger sister Ida cope in life?
When leaving home, Ida has nothing but her mother's old battered suitcase, a few favorite pieces of clothing, and a laptop. She is apparently saying goodbye to the small town where she has spent her entire life forever. However, saying goodbye is something Ida struggles with — two months ago, she didn't even attend her mother's funeral. At the train station, she chooses a train that goes as far away as possible and ends up in Rügen. There, filled with anger, sadness, and guilt, she wanders aimlessly until she encounters the pub owner Knut and his wife Marianne. The elderly couple takes the girl in and gives her the much-needed space. And then Ida meets Leif, who, despite having his own demons, seems able to tame hers. But her mother's death is not the last blow that hits Ida. Will she find the will to live, mend her relationship with her beloved older sister, and stand on her own two feet?
