In the forbidden territory of Šumava, around the Křemelná River, ancient legends begin to awaken in the late seventies. Border guards increasingly report sightings of unknown light phenomena. Suspicions of possible hostile plans from the West are growing. And age-old tales of will-o'-the-wisps and disembodied spirits are once again spreading through the land. A scientific expedition is sent to the places that have been inaccessible for decades to investigate the mysterious apparitions.
