The Agency and the Garden, two powerful empires that have waged a relentless war for ages. Their agents travel through time and reshape the threads of history. Even the slightest intervention can change the fate of entire civilizations and create a new, alternative reality.

When, amidst the ruins of a dying world, an agent finds a letter from her opponent with the message "Burn before reading," she considers it a joke, a trap. Yet, against all rules, she replies.

The correspondence, initially meant as a mockery of the enemy, gradually transforms into something deeper. Something that could change both the past and the future. A series of battles, chases, and encounters begins in a world full of conflict and fantastical transformations.
