A bloody nightmare in a campsite outside the city. Can Joona Linna solve the case with the help of a hypnotist? In the middle of the night, someone reports a break-in at a closed campsite outside Stockholm to the emergency hotline. The nearest police car responds, and when the patrol arrives at the scene, they are met with a horrifying sight inside one of the caravans. The floors, walls, and furniture are completely covered in blood. Someone has been killed there with an axe and brutally dismembered. Nearby, a young man is sleeping on the floor with his severed hand serving as a pillow. The young man is immediately arrested and taken into custody. He is the barely seventeen-year-old son of a famous writer. It soon becomes clear that he suffers from a rare form of sleepwalking. The young man could be the perpetrator or a witness to the entire massacre, but he remembers nothing. Joona Linna, who takes on the case, asks his old friend Erik Maria Bark to use hypnosis to find out what happened in the caravan.
