Description
The story of a guarded city, where atoms and human characters split. Petr Weiner is a gifted nuclear physicist who yearns for a career. However, he lives in socialist Czechoslovakia, where a person with a clean slate doesn't get far. Especially when he doesn't cooperate as he should. Weiner faces the threat that his last hope for a scientific career will be extinguished. Unless he accepts an offer from the State Security — to go to the center of nuclear research in Dubna in the Soviet Union and bring back information that the secret service might be interested in. However, the unpredictable world of Dubna dictates its own rules.
