The author's new collection invites us into a strange world where basilisks nod their heads, legs kick against walls, flames blaze, wicks smolder, and stones fall from the sky. The shutters creak, the wind bangs against the shutters, dogs bark, and a contemplative God hammers at the anvil. A space both mysterious and familiar, as if the poet is inviting us to return to places we once knew but have forgotten. Or is it a completely new continent?
