This time he traveled, for example, to meet elephant protectors in the Congo and returned home to Prachatice once again by bike. However, this time from faraway Oman, so he had to cross, among other places, Saudi Arabia — a country unknown to people from the West, which has only recently opened up to tourists. In his travel book Home on the Road, Šíma invites readers to jointly discover the natural beauty, the uniqueness of people and their interconnectedness, and above all, the concept of home, whose reflections he finds in the stars, sand dunes, and on the construction sites of foreign cities.
