Description
Welcome to the Pantry! In a cottage, there is a basket in the pantry from which something mysteriously disappears from time to time. A cucumber, a few apples, an onion... or maybe a potato. Suddenly, the potato opens its eyes and realizes it has four short legs, pointy ears, and a restless tail. The potato becomes Brambůrek. Alive, scared, and alone. Fortunately, he doesn't stay alone for long. Soon he meets Jablenka, Řepin, and other inhabitants of the Pantry — a hidden village that weekend visitors to the cottage, boys Matouš and Štěpán, have no idea about. Good thing too! The Pantry dwellers know well that humans are bloodthirsty monsters who only think about whom they might devour... But if Brambůrek wants to find his family, he can't just sit in the corner. And so this involuntary hero, who must save more than just his own snout, will ultimately understand that not everything is always as it seems.
