The outside world cannot penetrate the school’s walls—not family life, pressure to achieve at school or social differences. Then, nevertheless, something happens: a shocking spiral of events moves the story forward in time and turns its premise upside down. What the reader has believed so far is not entirely true, but neither is it a complete lie. The gripping finale is the final piece of the puzzle, revealing a truth that continues to resonate long after the last sentence has been read.
