Description
Senseless vengefulness, a victim stripped of her senses, the sun-baked Spanish coast, and a murderer with a heart as cold as ice. When police officer Cristina Sánchez Pradell heads to a luxury villa on the Andalusian coast with a colleague for an alleged burglary, she has no idea that her life is about to be turned upside down. The focal point of his cruel plan becomes Cristina's aunt, who suffers from Usher syndrome, a rare disease that has robbed her of both hearing and sight. To assist the Spanish police, a brilliant yet eccentric detective from Glasgow, John Mackenzie, is dispatched. The proud and independent Spanish woman is understandably not thrilled about collaborating with an antisocial Scot. Will they manage to catch Cleland before the murderer has his final bloody word?
