Rok na stavbě – Nowicki Artur (2021)

Finally, a new addition to the Rok family that will satisfy little technical enthusiasts! Some children are born with a passion for vehicles. And especially construction machines evoke a wonder comparable to the fascination of another child tribe — dinosaurs. You can easily recognize them. Their first word is not 'mama,' but 'moto.' Playgrounds bore them, but they can easily act as expert construction supervisors at a nearby construction site for half a shift. By the age of two, they can explain the difference between a tracked excavator and a wheeled one, and unlike you, they know that a frog doesn't just jump in the mud, but also at a construction site, and it's actually called a vibrating rammer. After the successful Year in the Forest, Year in Kindergarten, and Year in Fairy Tales, another volume will be added to this series — Year at the Construction Site. From January to December, you can observe the bustling activity at the construction site: from surveying to earthworks and construction to final inspections. The anthropomorphized construction machines and other useful tools have a distinctive character, and their work can be tracked throughout the month and across the entire year. An introductory double page clearly presents them, explaining many technical processes related to construction to children (and you!).
