Even an ordinary hole in the ground can be a magical world. So be careful with that excavator and concrete! Behind the gym, there is a huge pit. Someone dug it out long ago, and thus Ďolík was created. In Ďolík, you can climb on roots, roll down hills, dig tunnels... The children love Ďolík. But to adults, the unsightly hole in the ground has long been a sore spot. Isn't a playground enough? Sooner or later, someone is bound to get hurt with all this wildness! But how is a small person supposed to learn about the diverse world, and especially about the functioning and limits of their own body, when we most often take them out to designated areas where they can't even scrape their knee? This picture book is written from a child's perspective from beginning to end. You won't find any didactic finger-wagging between the lines, just authentic experiences. Enthusiasm, activity, disappointment, revolt... But definitely not resignation — that is completely foreign to children. A child is a miraculous being who can creatively adapt to a constantly changing world, all while having no idea of the heroic feats they are accomplishing. Let's take inspiration!
