Leonard a Hladový Paul – Hession Rónán (2021)

A disarming novel posing a simple question: Can good people change the world? Leonard and Hungry Paul is a charming story of two nice single thirty-somethings whom you wouldn't even notice on the street, let alone think of as heroes of a novel. Yet within their ordinariness lies extraordinary strength. Leonard makes a living writing encyclopedias for children and longs for someone with whom he can marvel at the beauty of the universe. Hungry Paul, on the other hand, is completely satisfied with his life — he is the walking embodiment of being in the present moment. Both friends use humor, board games, and silence to navigate the storms of life in the twenty-first century and protect what is most precious — the joy of every moment, even the most ordinary one.
