Forgotten destinies of educated women Although their names are little known today, women have always contributed to knowledge, engaged in discussions, and come up with original ideas. The monograph focuses on the role of women in the history of Czech philosophy and science, presenting the views and works of selected Czech female philosophers and scientists, and placing their work in a European context. The first chapter of the book, "Outline," offers an overview of significant educated women from the earliest period up to 1989. In the second chapter, titled "Probes," the authors delve deeper into selected topics and suggest possible developments of the areas described in the first part. The third chapter, "Sources," then offers selected primary texts that document the philosophical interests of Czech women and may serve as inspiration for further research on the topic.
