Description
Little Mája moves from her house in the village to the city. She misses nature, birds, and the garden. Among the tall buildings, there isn't a single spot where daffodils or apple trees could grow. When Mája draws them on the sidewalk with chalk, the rain washes them away in no time. And when she finally finds a park, it is covered with small pebbles and not a single flower in sight. Eventually, a lost little bird leads her to a fairy-tale beautiful flower shop — but it’s closed. Does nothing grow in this city at all? It does! A small shoot has broken through the sidewalk! Mája takes it and puts it in her treasure jar. In the jar, there is enough space for the little flower to grow. To grow in a city where there is enough room for thousands of such mini-gardens to flourish. To the shared joy of all. Even the city can become a greener place to live.
