Description
Ana should be enjoying her last summer before starting university. Instead, she is stuck on a prepaid sightseeing tour of medieval castles with her ex-boyfriend. Things seem unable to get any worse, until a swim in sacred caves is interrupted by a powerful earthquake. Although Ana manages to escape, a harsh winter awaits her outside instead of a sunlit summer landscape. What is more, knights are waging war against Vikings in the surrounding forests. She has somehow ended up in the fourteenth century, but how? Her only chance of returning home is Leon, a wounded knight who has no idea what bikinis or telephones are. If they are to survive, however, they must overcome their mutual distrust and work together. They are being pursued not only by ruthless northerners, but also by ordinary people who regard Ana as a witch. Matters are further complicated by the fact that Ana appears to be part of an ancient prophecy and that her leap through time has given her powers she never even dreamed of.
