This Czech-language picture book gently and entertainingly shows children and adults what life with ADHD can look like. Sophie, the main character, tells a rhyming story about her best friend Áďa, a restless companion who brings both joy and many challenges into her life. Together they get ready for school and experience all kinds of adventures there. Although Áďa sometimes causes confusion and Sophie occasionally arrives at school late with him, he also brings great creativity and happiness, especially during art lessons, their favourite classes. The story follows their journey from misunderstanding to acceptance and shows that being different need not be an obstacle, but can be part of an identity that can be accepted and understood.
