Description
Even a well-known and celebrated monarch like Queen Elizabeth II of Britain needs a close friend. As a little girl, she found hers in a corgi puppy she named Susan, with whom she formed a strong bond. The Queen had more than 30 corgi companions throughout her life, and nearly all were direct descendants of her beloved Susan. The authors, with a charming and straightforward approach, mention many important milestones in both the princess's and later the queen's life. The narrative is accompanied by beautiful illustrations.
