Trust funds represent a very interesting and beneficial legal tool for the average citizen, allowing them to organize family property relations and thus avoid future problems. Compared to other countries, practically nothing is known about the possibilities and methods of using them in the Czech Republic. This book serves as a comprehensive source of information about the legal institution of trust funds. This institution and its possibilities are not fully understood not only by lawyers and people 'in the field,' but also by the general public. The authors draw from their practice in establishing and managing trust funds in the Czech Republic, which they have been engaged in since 2014. So far, there is no such book for laypeople-non-lawyers on the Czech book market. Trust funds were introduced into the Czech legal system in 2014, and all published works on this topic – whether to a greater or lesser extent – are aimed at lawyers and academics, not the average reader. Since 2017, there has been a significant increase in interest and attention focused on trust funds. This development was partly caused by positive changes in tax burdens.
