In the comic, Jože Plečnik tells the story of himself, reminiscing about his great works and the people and places he had the opportunity to encounter on his long life journey between Ljubljana, Vienna, and Prague. Plečnik narrates the story of his life himself in the comic. His narrative is shaped as a perspective on who he was and when he created, occasionally reflecting on possible alternatives to his decisions. The story includes his contemporaries, primarily based on the influence they had on him and his work. Just as with Plečnik's works, where a logical selection was made due to the scope, it was necessary to proceed similarly when including his students and collaborators, who added their knowledge and their authorial stamp to his projects.
