Description
The world of children is full of colors and a desire for new experiences – this book offers a combination of both. The publication is divided into ten chapters according to the months of the school year, and for each month, a Colorful Week is created, full of thematic activities, which correspond to all areas of the Framework Educational Program. It includes movement games, experiments, ideas for artistic activities, songs, and recommended literature for children. There are also motivations before physical activities, descriptions of tools, and methodological procedures. The aim of this publication is to educate children, entertain them, support their abilities, and above all, their cooperation in a group. It can serve as inspiration not only for educators in kindergartens. Kristýna Kapounková works as a teacher in a kindergarten. She also works in a low-threshold facility for children and youth. She is currently studying at the Faculty of Education at Palacký University in Olomouc.
