This syndrome is underestimated not only in clinical fields of medicine but often even by the doctors themselves. However, true medicine begins precisely where elements of frailty appear. In clinical practice, both etiological factors – phenotypic and deficit – are combined. The book aims to carefully describe the phenomenon of frailty through a review of available studies.
