The publication addresses the serious social issues of delinquency and crime. It provides an analysis of criminal behavior as well as the psychological and educational problems related to influencing the behavior of individuals during their imprisonment and after their release. The first part of the publication contains the theoretical foundations of the issue: • crime, its causes and sources • personality traits and characteristics of criminal subculture • psychology of criminal behavior as an applied scientific discipline. Furthermore, the psychosocial aspects of educational influence on deviant and criminal subculture are described both in prisons and after the release of convicts. Increased attention is paid to their resocialization and subsequent education in both preventive and corrective dimensions using integration tools. The conclusion of the book processes practical experiences and insights from the authors' professional work.
