Description
This Czech-language book presents thirteen stories about clients with intellectual disabilities at the Sulická Home for People with Disabilities, as told by the home’s director, Lenka Kohoutová. The stories explore love and respect for people with disabilities as well as hatred and contempt. The book offers a completely open account of their lives and their relationships with the people around them. At times it is harsh, at others it brings tears to the eyes, because it is truthful, makes no pretence and shows the reality of people with intellectual disabilities as it is.
