The author has divided her text, supported by a lifetime of experience, into seven fundamental themes – keys. Each key describes what children need to develop freely, to be healthy, and to have a happy childhood. It leads to the individual development of the child and to an understanding of why today's children are not always understood by their parents, teachers, and caregivers. The book also contains many stories from a psychosomatic counseling center, where the author has often helped heal a child by changing the educational systems within the family. The book mentions modern alternative techniques for healing both children and adults. It promotes freedom and flexibility in upbringing, while also favoring models and educational boundaries so that loving upbringing meets the conditions of natural balance in life. The author summarizes the mission of her book with the words: "We influence the upbringing of children from the very first moment after birth. Today, after many years of experience, I can confirm that we continue to influence our children even into their adulthood."
