Pedagogická diagnostika a intervence v mateřské škole – Bohunická Kadlecová Veronika (2026)

This Czech-language publication explores the importance of observation as a tool for educational assessment in nursery school. Based on situations from practice, it offers teachers practical ways to carry out observation, interpret it and use its results when planning further education for an individual child or group. It also includes observation forms, sample plans for educational activities and examples of completed observation records. The book is divided into two parts. The first addresses educational assessment and intervention in preschool education, preschool children in the context of their needs and learning, and the role of observation in nursery school, illustrated with specific examples. The second places observation within the five educational areas defined by the Framework Educational Programme for Preschool Education and uses nursery-school stories to show how important moments can be identified. The publication also provides recommendations for planning an individualised educational programme that reflects both the framework programme and the children’s needs revealed through educational assessment and intervention.
