Description
Will to Meaning is an authorial selection from Frankl's lectures given between 1946 and 1980. Its main theme is as follows: Man is a being searching for meaning (logos), and providing help to a person in their search is one of the tasks of psychotherapy – particularly the logotherapy conceived by Frankl. The selection is complemented by a contribution from Frankl's student Elisabeth S. Lukas on the validation of the effects of logotherapy and the Logo-test for measuring life's meaningfulness and its opposite – existential frustration. This is one of Frankl's most famous books, which in this edition has been enriched with the essay 'Alpinism and the Pathology of the Spirit of the Times.'
