Description
Šimon is a boy like any other. He is in the second grade, letters don't listen to him much, he has a younger sister named Anežka and an older sister, Sandra, who is twelve and sometimes a bit strange. One evening, Šíma experiences a true pre-Christmas adventure: he finds himself alone in a snowy square. No one is around. Just him, the white square, a fountain, stalls prepared for the Advent market, and a beautiful mysterious carved nativity scene. And that evening, a miracle happens: one figure from the nativity scene, the smallest one right by the railing, comes to life right before Šíma's eyes. What is it like to stand for days and nights in the midst of Christmas anticipation and listen to Christmas wishes? Do we sometimes accidentally forget, through our own wishes, about the wishes of others? A story about how beautiful it is to receive. But it can be just as beautiful to give.
