The publication, which is based on the earlier book by M. Svoboda, Psychological Diagnosis of Adults, comprehensively addresses the psychodiagnostics of adults. The first part provides a brief overview of the main methodological requirements, addresses ethical issues in psychodiagnostic activities, and also discusses online psychological diagnostics. The next section focuses on the classification of methods, describing basic clinical approaches. This is followed by a list of methods that meet psychometric criteria: special attention is given to intelligence tests and tests of cognitive functions and organic damage to the CNS. Significant tests that have recently been used in our country and fully reflect the current state of psychological knowledge are described in detail (e.g., the latest versions of WAIS-III, WMS-III, and several tests used in neuropsychology). The section on personality tests opens with a chapter on projective methods, where, alongside Bohm's classification, considerable attention is given to the comprehensive system of interpretation of the Rorschach test according to Exner.
