The publication provides methodological material for the development of psychomotor skills and graphomotor skills in preschool facilities. It consists of 16 similarly structured chapters with a balanced content of activities that develop gross motor skills, fine motor skills, and graphomotor skills. In each chapter, musical activities play a key role, motivated by both familiar and new original songs. A key effect of simultaneous singing and movement is the influence on breathing, as it prevents breath-holding, contributing to the release of tension in the body of the budding drawer/writer. The publication reflects the often age-heterogeneous composition of children's groups and individual differences in graphomotor skills, intentionally offering several variants of worksheets with graduated difficulty for each lesson. The material builds on the tradition of the Good Start Method in Polish and Czech education: it presents ideas for activities that develop complex psychomotor skills, linking the implementation of relaxation exercises in graphomotorics with drawing simple graphic patterns to carefully selected or created songs.
