Description
Since the moment all churches were closed due to the coronavirus crisis, the podcast project U ambonu was launched, in which six well-known priests commented on the Gospel readings every day. This resulted in a unique collection of spiritual reflections that not only interpret the biblical text and related themes interestingly but also capture new thinking about how to live Christianity in the modern world, how to cope with unexpected and significant turns represented by the crisis, for example, how to move from a familiar experience of faith towards greater maturity and authenticity. The selection of reflections from the time of the coronavirus is thus not only a document of its time but also a challenge for a new step forward, clearly showing that every crisis is also an opportunity. Available for listening at https://www.fortna.eu/uambonu. Ladislav Heryán is a well-known Salesian and author of several books. Josef Prokeš is a priest from South Bohemia and the author of the notable debut book The Lord Cares.
