Description
Thomas Frings is a well-known German priest who drew significant attention after leaving his parish and entering a monastery in 2016. His motivation was frustration with how ordinary clerical activities are conducted and how the church struggles with its mission to operate in the modern world. In his book, he presents his understanding of the Christian, specifically Catholic faith. He answers the questions of WHY he believes, WHAT he believes, and HOW he believes. For him, God is not something that functions, not a machine for human needs.
