Description
Špunt is a little boy who doesn't know what fear is. The wandering life of a puppeteer bores him. He constantly hears from his parents what he must and must not do, that something is impossible, and that certain things shouldn't be done. He dreams of an adventurous life full of danger. One day, he learns that a knight named Rodrigo Raubíř lives nearby, feared by the entire surrounding area, and the ditches of his castle are lined with gnawed, bleached bones. Little Špunt decides immediately: he will run away from home and enter Rodrigo's service. This book about courage and fear, and about how things are not always as they seem at first glance, is intended primarily for readers aged 7 to 10.
