A dual book for younger school-age children that combines story with a lesson. The first book introduces readers to the seven greatest human vices through simple experiences that are familiar to children from their environment (sibling rivalry, reluctance to lend their belongings, jealousy of more successful friends, their own laziness, etc.). Each story is set in the children's world, taking place within the immediate family or among peers. The second book also contains seven stories with the same characters, but this time the main character behaves differently, positively. Parents and children can sensitively work with questions of what is right and wrong, what human weaknesses are, and how wonderful it is not to succumb to them, thanks to the simple stories. The book will be welcomed by younger school-age children, parents, grandparents, and educators. Daniela Krolupperová is a translator and journalist who has published a number of award-winning children's books, including Mizící hmyzíci, Jde sem lesem, Polární pohádka, Tajemství olivového háje, among others.
