The aim of this book is to show one way to connect literary sources and methods of dramatic education when working with preschool children. It inspires how to teach children and adults to find a common path to stories, fairy tales, poetry, dramatic education, but mainly to life through fairy tale heroes, their world and problems, as well as through the creation and implementation of literary-dramatic projects. The book offers a process for planning one's own projects, addresses the selection of literature, working with text, choosing goals, methods, and games. It also presents several already realized projects that describe specific activities and situations, reflect on the process, and depict children's reactions. The projects are supplemented with examples of graphic sheets. The book is intended for preschool educators, especially teachers of kindergartens, but also for others interested in working with preschool children. It aims to support anyone who enjoys playing, reading, and seeking inspiration on how to apply everything in practice. MgA. Jitka Míčková works as a kindergarten teacher, leads drama clubs for preschool children and children from the first grade of elementary school, lectures, and creates educational workshops for the Minor Theatre (since 2016) and workshops for the Post Bellum foundation. She is a founder and member of the Na háčku theatre.
