Description
The workbook is intended for children, primarily of younger school age, who still do not pronounce certain sounds correctly. It contains tasks suitable for reinforcing (automating) already learned (fixed) sounds in speech. Common speech therapy exercises are usually interesting for younger children and are not engaging for school-aged kids. Older children can also utilize reading and writing when fixing a given sound and can simultaneously tackle more challenging tasks. Therefore, the book includes crosswords, word searches, fill-in-the-blanks, quizzes, hiding games, anagrams, and other games focused on practicing these sounds and groups: C, S, Z, CSZ, Č, Š, Ž, ČŠŽ, L, R, Ř. Both authors are clinical speech therapists with many years of experience. They have published several speech therapy books with Portál, including "I have sugar and semolina in the box," "Large Speech Therapy Pexeso 1-3," "Speech Therapy Fairy Tales," and "Mína is looking into the chimney" or "Speech Therapy Riddles."
