Description
The continuation of the successful title Folk Songs and Games with Them presents nearly a hundred Czech, Moravian, and several Slovak folk songs in simple musical notation with chords. Each song is accompanied by inspirational prompts for group work, instructions for games and activities related to the themes and situations in the song, its mood, and storyline. Mgr. Zdeněk Šimanovský is a psychologist, teaches music and drama education at PedF UK, and leads courses for practicing educators. He has published several books with Portál, including Games Help with Problems, Games for Managing Aggression and Restlessness, and the aforementioned Folk Songs and Games with Them. PaedDr. Alena Tichá teaches singing at PedF UK. She is a lecturer in courses by the Czech Music Society for teachers of kindergartens and primary schools. Tereza Staňková studied singing and composition, teaches singing at two Prague music schools, and writes songs for various performers.
